Guest Post: Disneyland Paris with Dorien

Hi everyone, I'm Dorien and I blog over at bodacious thought. I share outfits, daily memories and just everything else I'd like to. I'm so glad that Jessie asked me to do a post for her. I hope you have a wonderful time at Disneyworld, Jessie! Since she's there, it's only normal to continue the Disney madness over here, right? So I'm going to tell you something about my Disney experiences.

You can't see it, but in the right picture, I'm wearing a Daisy Duck visor and tee.
I live only three hours away from Disneyland Paris and I'm guessing a lot of you probably think that's peanuts. But you have to understand, I live in a country where you can get from one side to the other in 2 hours so for me, it's actually quite a distance. But that aside, I wanted to share that I've already been four times and if I could, I would probably go every year! There's just something about it, the decors, the characters, the vibe that makes Disney so appealing to me. And of course, I love all of the little shops where you can find all sorts of treasures.

Me, my dad and Dale. Or is it Chip?
When I was little, I had a little book for signatures, so all the characters could sign it. It was a lot of fun when you were walking around and suddenly, you see a character that you haven't collected a signature from. My favorite characters were Chip & Dale at the time, I loved them, and the people that played them in the park, acted all silly as well. My favorite princess used to be Jasmine from Aladdin. I loved her so much that my grandmother made me a costume just like her once and let me tell you, it looked awesome.

Instagram pictures of glitter snowglobes and some Disney dvd's.
Today, I think my favorite movie is probably The Fox and the Hound. I have a feeling it's a little bit of an underdog between the disney movies but I just think it's so very emotional and touching, I really love it. But actually, I kind of love every Disney movie ever made. I'm thinking of the Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Snow White, Bambi and Pinokkio. Oh and don't forget about Peter Pan, I love that fantasy world! In Disneyland Paris, you have an attraction from Peter Pan where you 'fly' around in his world and it's beautiful. Together with It's a small world, those are my favorite attractions.

I hope you enjoyed my little ramblings about my Disney engaged life, I don't think I'll ever stop loving it! By the way, I recently went back to Disneyland, you can read about it when you click on the picture below. What is your favorite anecdote concerning all things Disney? And thank you Jessie for having me! xoxo

What a cute post! Thank you so much Dorien for being a guest on my blog!
