What I Wore #11

I started doing these photos with my hair down and didn't like it. Up in a bun it went. Cody just dyed my roots for me. I love it up in a ponytail when its freshly done. It looks so pretty! I am so in love with my sweater. I just got it last weekend on my birthday. I got a lot of stuff actually and I am sure it will all appear on the blog sooner or later. I am still uncomfortable in front of the camera. Even with this being outfit post #11!

If you saw my 32 Things Before 32 List I had put down TAKE LOTS OF SELF PORTRAITS. I am just trying to get more confident in front of the camera. Plus I figure someday when I am old and gray I will be glad I took all these silly photos! ;)

This is a new series I wanted to start on my blog for 2013.
I used to post weekly posts of interiors called TODAY'S COLOR.
I miss doing them, but felt weekly was a bit much. I also like incorporating everything, not just decor. I love color and making collages with everything from fashion to interior design is much more inspiring I think. Color is everywhere. Mint green is a bit of a trend right now. I don't follow trends. I find mint green simply beautiful and a peaceful color. Cody has agreed to let me paint our home office in a shade of mint green. I can't wait.

This was my third time doing the photo a day challenge on Instagram. I must say, for some reason I struggled with it this month. I didn't like a lot of the topics and found it hard to find something to photograph based on each topic everyday. I love my Instagram photos. So I have decided to just do my own images daily and share them with you at the end of the month. I felt I tried too hard to take a photo everyday and hated a lot of my images. Something I want to do is continue to get better at my photo taken and this isn't helping me I fear. :( I hate to sound negative, but I just want to take my own images based on what I find to photograph that day. I plan to also take a image for everyday this year and at the end of the year share them all together. I think that would be fun. :)

Looking Back on My 2012

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Now that 2012 is officially gone, I wanted to take the time to look back on what a great year it was. I decided to go back through my archives for the entire year and pick out my favorite blog posts. I really changed as a person a lot this year and so did my blog. I can not thank everyone enough for following my little blog and leaving me sweet comments all the time! It motivates me to keep going. Thank you.
