Giveaway // Acorn Necklace & Forks Over Knives DVD

ProjectLovegoodHeader giveawaypost

Greetings My Mod Style readers! My name is Aubrey and I’m coming to you from my little web abode, Project Lovegood. Project Lovegood is a website where I hope to inspire, offer a different perspective, and just encourage loving the everyday adventures.

I want to take this opportunity and offer a giveaway that emphasizes two things Jessie and I have in common: an adoration for nature and a plant-based diet. The winner will get both a handmade acorn necklace and a brand spankin’ new copy of the film Forks Over Knives. The acorn was plucked from my own neighborhood, cleaned, gutted and made into a necklace. I really love things in the raw, so I didn't paint it, just embraced its natural beauty. For how to make one yourself I have a tutorial here, so that you too can don a bit of nature on a necklace. The film, well, it has a very special place in my heart. I have bought numerous copies of it and given it to those near and dear to me, and anyone else interested because it covers information that I feel should be screamed at the rooftops. So this is yet another chance for me to share it and hope that you benefit from it as much as my family and I did.

This giveaway is not limited to the U.S. because I find the information in that film too precious to restrict. So wherever you live please feel free to enter. The only favor I ask is that once you see the film you pass it on to someone else. A little pay if forward action never hurts. Oh and, to do a quick plug, if you are a bit of a geek like me, please feel free to check out my brand new Etsy shop where I combine geek with fire writing. Cheers and wishes to all!

  1. This was a wonderful idea to have about the acorn necklace. It is gorgeous! I can't believe it is a real acorn! So much hard work had to have gone into something so cute.

    1. Awww, thank you Kashmere! I had seen so many different acorn necklaces on the market: wood ones, metal ones, clay ones. Then I thought, why not use a real one? It's been one of my favorite things to make so thank you for what you said!
