4 Movies

I haven't been watching as many movies as I used to. I can never find any that interest me anymore! Here are 4 Movies I have watched in the last few months...



1. The Other Guys - Horrible. Not funny at all. I was very disappointed. Will Ferrel and Donnie Wahlberg were in it. I hoped it would be funny since I like both of them. I was wrong! 1 Star

2. All Good Things - This movie is very dark and depressing. The acting was good but I hated the story. It was strange seeing Ryan Gosling as a bad guy. He played it well. 2.5 Stars

3. The Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - Cody and I did go see the new Pirates movie. I still haven't decided if I liked it or not. It was strange not having all the same characters in it. I understand it is a whole new story line, so that is why. I do not like Penelope Cruz. I hated having to watch her on the big screen. Overall it was entertaining just like the other movies, but it is not my favorite. 3 Stars

4. Unthinkable - Disturbing. I hated it. I couldn't even finish watching it. 1 Star

Weekend 8 in California

Cody and I didn't do much of anything this past weekend. It was rainy and cold so we just were lazy and watched movies and TV. We watched Meet The Robinsons and lots of Animal Planet. I always make Cody watch all the cat shows. We watched My Cat From Hell.

My Cat From Hell teaches you how to understand bad behavior your cat may be displaying. I have learned a lot about my own pets by watching Animal Planet. It was nice taking a break from driving around California. Hopefully this upcoming weekend we have nice weather!

Design Board - Hollywood Glam

Amber emailed me about decorating her bedroom. She is moving into a new home and has a clean slate to work with. She fell in love with Frankie's Room from Wake Up Frankie. She asked me to give her ideas and suggestions on how she can make her new room look like Frankie's Room.


I love the colors and design of Frankie's Room. I selected decor and furniture that are very similar. The possibilities for decorating a room with such a pretty theme are endless. Frankie used some vintage and antique pieces in the room. I would definitely suggest shopping at flea markets, antique shops and thrift stores to find some great furniture and decorative items. Spray paint and painted furniture is perfect for a room like this. Here are my design boards below...

I really hope that this inspires Amber! She could easily paint gold scrolls on her walls to get the same look as Frankie's Room. Decorating her room with a Hollywood Glam look is going to be so much fun! Happy Decorating Amber!
