So, my last trip to IKEA has tempted me with its furniture and other home decor items. My husband and I really want new furniture for our new house,....who doesn't, right? lol Sadly we are broke with all the money we spend at all our million trips to Lowes. I don't want to leave rooms empty, and I want to decorate. So, we are trying to decide if we want to whip out the credit card to buy a new couch or not. Oh, and a flat screen TV, along with a KING size bed for our masterbedroom. :) hehehehehe
So heres the couch's we like from IKEA.............
KARLSTAD Couch, priced at $1.197.00, which seats alot of people. :)
Its funny that you CAN buy this online,...considering that IKEA doesn't let you buy picture frames off their website. It makes no sense at all to me. Anyways, I can just picture my YELLOW wall behind this couch, with my black and white painting hanging over it, and don't forget all my fun black and white patterned pillows!!!
Our other choice,...which I do think we like better, is....
TYLOSAND Sofa, which this version below is priced at $998.00, and still seats alot of people. It can be added on to also, which I love that. It also has that retro feel. Love the chrome.
So I am tempted. We are going to price beds. A bed is the smarter investment I think. We'll see. :) I have good self-control when it comes to spending money. But when it has to do with "decorating" my house, it makes it hard. I don't want empty rooms. I have designs in my head, that are screaming to come out. And I will have to buy this stuff sooner or later anyways??? right??? lol ;)
I will try to post pictures soon, been REALLLYYYYYYY busy at the house!!!!! Sorry I haven't been leaving anyone comments on there lovely blogs,...I will soon! Everyone take care, thanks for reading. :)

Rehab Weekends #12 and #13
Aug 4 ~ 5
Finally taking some time to landscape....
I spent one day just doing this. We went and bought 10 bags of white gravel,..and this is all it covered!!
My landscaping looks so wimpy and small in the photo,...but it has to grow of course! :)
BEFORE
The precious homeowners just let everything go and grow!!!! You couldn't even see the house at all. :( While I did landscaping my husband spent the day working on getting our Air Conditoner working!! It works now,...and just in time,....its been in the high 90's all week in OHIO.
The second day of the weekend was spent putting an OSB floor in our Master Bedroom..
BEFORE
Down goes the OSB.....
Its nice to see a floor in there.....It will be a bedroom someday soon!
Weekend #13
Aug 11 ~ 12
Here's a scary Photo!
I don't know if I have ever mentioned that all our overhead lighting in the house DIDN'T work. My husband and father in-law spent a day working on it. We kinda have been putting it off.... Do you blame us? All those freaking wires. Well they figured it out, believe it or not!!!!
Now I have kitchen lights!!!! It makes the kitchen sparkle now!
While they worked on the lighting, I started scraping the Popcorn/textured ceiling in the living room.
You can't see anything really in the photo above, and it also needs alot of sanding, etc. This room was the only room with the textured ceiling, and I hate it. It had to go. We are also going to put more lighting in the ceiling.
Here's a photo of part of the basement, I don't think I have ever posted one.
It sucks that we had all the posts in the middle, but oh well. We hope to finish it later on. Well, we are off to IKEA this Saturday, and my husband has 10days off of work. Let's hope we get alot done during those days off. :)

My Houndstooth Obsession
I love yellow, black, and white. Especially when its with Houndstooth!!
I love this bedding from Delia's!
The Curtains are from Delia's too!!
I just love this chair.
I posted this photo forever ago. I know its busy,..but man its FUN!!!! And look at the yellow!!!!!!!!
I even love clothes in the Houndstooth!! Sadly I do not own one thing with the Houndstooth pattern on it.
This is my favorite thing in the Houndstooth pattern that I have found.
Its bedding from Walmart. I like it because it has the Houndstooth pattern, but its not BUSY looking. This bedding is around $40.00!!! That's my kind of price range. I know alot of people don't like Walmart,...but they are really getting better about the products they carry. I love the prices too. Just like IKEA and Target. :) I hope to put some Houndstooth in my decor somewhere. I just haven't decided where yet......Of course my husband hates it. lol
