Last weekend was full of outdoor activites. My friend Scott came to visit and we decided to take him to our favorite park for some hiking. I have featured Vedauwoo National Forest a few times on the blog already, view those posts HERE. Vedauwoo is like a playground for adults where you get to climb and jump around. Plus it has great scenery.
One thing I really wanted to do this year was photograph nature more. I am definitely doing that!
Scott attempting to move a rock, he failed of course.
JUMPING!!!
CLIMBING!!! (well, sort of.)
I also got a promotion at work, which means more hours.
Which is good because I am making more money to save for my tiny house in the future. ;)
What have you been up to?
Fun photos! What a pretty location. x Tamara

DeleteYou guys are so healthy!!! This looks like so much fun. Look at all those pretty flowers. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cazz! We try really hard to be healthy. :)
DeleteWow, wildflowers! You do live in a beautiful part of the world, dear, I'm glad you get out and enjoy it :)

Yes, me too. It makes living here "not so bad". I hate the city, but love the perks of nature near by. I guess it evens out. ;) Thanks for stopping by Kitty. I know I've been a stranger lately.
DeleteAs a hiking enthusiast I would LOVE to visit here someday!!
ReplyDeleteYou would love Vedauwoo! It's not your typical hike either. We usually just climb up the rocks and make our own trail along the way. hahaha You have to find places that are safe to go up to reach the top. It really is a playground. The views are amazing. There is so much I haven't explored yet at Vedauwoo. I'm glad it's so close to where I live.
DeleteKind of looks like the mountain that we went hiking/climbing on about a week or so before I flew out to North Carolina for a month!
ReplyDeleteI bet you had a great time!!! :)
DeleteBeautiful photos again!xx
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
