Justin Timberlake - Bring It On Down 2... by IdolxMuzic
I love Justin Timberlake. His sketch on Saturday Night Live about being vegan really made me laugh!
I love this image of the cow. I actually can't remember where I found it.

Aubrey from Project Lovegood did a post talking about her dream to build an off the grid home. After reading her post and talking to Cody about it we are actually really interested in doing this ourselves as well. I don't know a lot about off the grid homes and have so much to learn. Reading
her post is a great place to start!

I have become pretty obsessed with making my own things to use in my daily life. Things like soaps, laundry detergent and household cleaners.
Karen posted about her new love for coconut oil. She talks about all the lovely things you can make with it. I really enjoyed all the info and inspiration in
her post. I hope to try some of the things out in the future.
What has been inspiring you lately?
Please share some links with me!
Thanks for sharing my off the grid post!! It's one of my favorites and we are so excited for that transition, that we plan to make once our lease is up in one years time. This week I plan on sharing another post on a different type of off the grid home. I'm super stoked about it!!
ReplyDeleteI love the image of the cow and I've just always enjoyed that quote!!
As far as making your own things- you and me both! I'm almost near out of conditioner and shampoo and I've decided I'm not going to buy anymore. I'm going to try a new method that doesn't use shampoo or conditioner at all and I'm super excited about it. I saw it on Pinterest of a woman who tried it out for over a month and her hair looks beautiful!
I can't wait to follow you through your transition into living off the grid. I look forward to learning more about it from you.
DeleteYou will have to let me know how the shampoo and conditioner thing works out for you. I get sick of buying it as well!
You always find the most inspiring quotes. I need to plaster my walls with them to keep me motivated!
ReplyDeleteYes, quotes are very inspiring. I love that you can find just one that can inspire you ALL THE TIME. When needed you can just repeat it to yourself over and over during hard times. :)
DeleteI've seen omelette-ville but not the vegan-ville skit LOL I must watch it.
ReplyDeleteI need to watch the omelette-ville one. He is so funny!
DeleteThe off the grid home really interests me, I'm a city girl so living 'off the grid' in the sense to get away from people scares me, but the idea of providing your own energy and building your own home really interests me.
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit scary I guess, depending on how you look at it. The energy part sells me on the idea. :) I think it on depends on the location you select. I still like to be close to shopping areas. I hate long drives just to go to the grocery store!!
DeleteGreat links today! I think an off the grid house would be incredibly awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am glad it interests you as well. Aubrey is going to post some great information about it on her blog in the future. I can't wait to learn more about it. :) Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are doing well.
DeleteI laughed so much at the video. JT. .you are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI think Justin always surprises people with his humor. :)
