Some weeks I have tons of posts lined up. I can't wait to blog! This week, not so much. My mind and life are consumed with other things. I have decided to quit my job. I have 3 days left. I am sad to leave, but also feeling very excited. I look forward to looking for a new higher paying job with benefits. First though I will be heading to Ohio for 2 - 3 weeks to visit. I was going to fly, but plan to drive. I am taking my SUV so that I can buy whatever the heck I want!!! How crappy would it be if I finally found a buffet for my dining room, but I had driven my Mustang. I think I would be crushed!!!! I have been doing some spring cleaning this week. I stumbled across some of my old drawings I did back in high school and I wanted to share a few with you...
Yorkie Drawing I used to love to draw. My senior year of high school I took 3 hours of art classes everyday. I want to get back into it, but feel so rusty. I feel like I don't remember how to draw or where to even start...
Puppies / Ink & Watercolor This drawing of
Montgomery Moose from The Get-A-Long Gang 1980's cartoon, I did while at work one day on a scrap piece of paper 10 years ago!
(That's what you can see coming through the drawing.)Drawings I do now are of flower doodles and hello kitty heads. Boring. I think it's a goal of mine to get back into drawing this year. I have talent and I hate not using it. Some of my favorite drawings I have done are of Garfield...
I just love to creative in general.
I want to get out and take photos of the mountains.
I want to draw.
I want to decorate.
I want to design.
Must be the warmer weather getting me.
Hope you are also having some sunshine this week!
You are good at drawing!! You should hang them up in your house. YAY for Ohio. Have fun. And Im wishing you all the luck with finding the job you want.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will find a job I WANT, just one that helps me make money. lol As long as I have a nice boss and employees who work hard, I will probably be happy. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to draw too! Your puppies watercolor and ink would look gorgeous in a white frame with a pink mat. Drawing is so rewarding and releases a lot of stress, definitely get back into it.
