Denver Brass Armadillo

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We headed to the Denver area and stopped at The Brass Armadillo Antique Mall. There used to be a Brass Armadillo in Cincinnati. I worked there for a total of 7 years. I loved it and going to the Denver store really made me wish I could work there again.

The Brass had so much to look at! I believe there is something there for everyone! I took a few pictures of some things I loved....

If you collect Barbies, there are tons to choose from...Brass Armadillo Barbies
I got some toy figurines...Brass Armadillo Figurines
Of course the real reason I went to Denver was to try to get Alice in Wonderland Vinylmations, and I did!!!Vinylmations Alice & Me
I have to say the people that work at Disney Stores are so friendly and helpful! We drove 2 hours to get there and I asked them if they had a full tray/box of Alice, and the guy went to the back and grabbed it for me! He had a huge smile on his face when he brought it out to me! He knew he made my day. Most the Disney Store employees also collect Vinylmations so they "GET THE ADDICTION" of collecting! LOL Today I am heading to some thrift stores and antique shops. Tomorrow Mount Rushmore!

  1. Yay so glad you got them!! I am a collecting nut, so I know how it is to not get what you want!

  2. I thought of you so much this weekend! I saw so many Barbies!!

  3. I have a few of the ones you posted!! We don't have any awesome antique malls around here anymore. It's sad!

  4. Oh! Please photograph them! I can't wait to see them.

  5. It's too late now, but for the next time you're in SD...Hot Springs SD is about 45 minutes south of Mt. Rushmore. There is a dig site for mammoths, with all of the findings left in place unless they know of something bigger and better underneath. It is my favorite place in SD (with Wall Drug being my second--tourist trap, but still fun)

  6. I'm SOLD on Air Force Barbie!! I didn't even notice her until I looked at this again. Maybe they have Airman Ken. How cool would that be?

  7. So fun! It's been m dream to have an antique booth, One of these days when I'm older, I am totally gonna do it. Congrats on your great Alice find :)
