Inspiration: Decorating by Vintage Revivals {Mandy}

Are you guys ready to see some of the coolest decorating EVER? Best part is it's mostly second hand purchases, DIY projects and items from discount stores. Meet Mandy from Vintage Revivals. She's a "celebrity blogger" really and is so very talented! It's actually blows my mind how good of a designer she is. She is a born nature and her talent has taken her great places. When I see her unique designs I fall in love every time. I really wanted to share her newest design here on my blog. She had a Room Makeover Giveaway on her blog recently and here is the design the winner received....


Mandy is very inspiring to me because she uses lots of color and really makes every design with her clients personality in mind. I found Mandy's blog probably about a year ago and fell in love. She has tons of tutorials on her blog, which makes her more awesome! (She shares her secrets with you.) She proves to you that you can turn any beat up thrift store find into a treasure. She paints everything. She teaches you to let your own inner interior decorator out.

I love Flickr. One of my contacts that I follow is Cranium Command's. Cassie takes these awesome photo's of Wall-E. A photo a day of Wall-E doing things like painting, playing outside and getting a cup of coffee from Starbucks...

The pictures make me smile and I think they are very creative.

BLOG LOVE - The Dainty Squid

I am feeling really inspired by Kaylah's blog The Dainty Squid. In my eyes she is a thrifting goddess. Her house is full of all kinds of cute thrift store finds. She has many cute collections that are so fun to look at. My favorite thing about Kaylah is her style. I am so jealous of all her outfits....


I would love to go shopping with her and have her pick outfits out for me. I don't think I could pull off her look, but I would love something with a vintage flair! She is such a cute girl! I have always wanted colored hair, just could never get it right. Kaylah even has a tutorial on her blog on the best way to dye your hair a bright color! She also loves cats, so I have that in common with her. I just really enjoy looking at all her cool thrift store finds and looking at all the cute photos on her blog!

Inspiration: Beautiful Painted Credenza

Lately I have been wanting to spray paint everything! Why does it have to be winter right now? It seems like on my days off it's always windy and snowing. So even painting in the garage is out of the question since it's not heated. I am dying to find a dresser or buffet to paint yellow for my dining room. Every trip to the thrift stores lately have left me empty handed. I originally planned on painting my buffet (that I don't have yet) with a roller and a can of paint, but I may just go with spray paint instead! Look at this BEAUTIFUL spray painted buffet by Jenny from Little Green Notebook....

My jaw dropped when I saw this thing!!!!This was all the inspiration I needed to decide to use spray paint instead! The only thing that will keep me from not using spray paint, is if I don't like the color of yellow offered in the spray paint selection. I would really just like to get a paint sprayer, but I just don't feel like spending the money on one right now! Jenny has step by step directions on her blog on how she painted her buffet. She also did some other awesome stuff in her home office makeover!
I am super jealous of her office, but I will use that jealously to motivate me to go shopping this weekend for my own awesome buffet! lol Thanks Jenny for the great inspiration!

Ever since Ally did her "What's your style in one photo" post and I picked a room by Jonathan Adler, I realized how much I do love his style. I love the color combinations and patterns he uses in all his designs. If there was one designer I would choose to help me decorate my home it would be him.

I found this wonderful mirror painted by Kelly from Much To Do With Nothing.

I really want to do a lot of "thrift store finds" in my apartment. Spray paint is amazing. :) I love the way she displayed everything around the mirror. Simple and Beautiful...

Twilight Inspired Bathroom

Today I was searching the web for inspiration and stumbled across this cute bathroom by The Mosaic Queen. I have been kinda stressed this week and not feeling very creative. This bathroom cheered me up a bit...

*Designer Inspiration*
