Meet The Meece's // My Pet Mice

When I was a child I usually always had some type of pet rodent. There is something about their cute little faces that get me every time. They melt my heart. I know some people are scared of rodents. I understand. I could never have a pet snake or spider. (My skin crawls just typing that.) I have wanted a hamster or gerbil for a while now. Cody had planned to surprise me on Christmas Eve with a pet hamster, but I figured out he was hiding something. Poor guy tried to surprise me. Over the weekend we stopped by the pet store and I fell in love with this little black mouse.



The other rodents just weren't as cute to me. I love his big ears and cute little face.


He was also the most active. Most the other mice were sleeping.
He also was the only solid black mouse in the entire cage.
I really thought all the black and white ones were really cute as well!


I was like a kid in a candy store trying to pick out a house for my mice.
Decisions, Decisions....


I ended up deciding on a 2 Story "mansion" for the mice. Ridiculously big and cute.


Of course I ended up getting a pair of mice because they are social animals.
I didn't want my little guy getting lonely.
I still have to name both of them.


I find taking photos of these guys is way harder then I thought it would be.
Why am I sharing these images on my blog in the first place?
Because anytime I can post anything that has to do with animals (especially cute ones) I will!

Chloe goes Vegan

Actually we feed all our pets IAMS, but Chloe loves veggies! Chloe's favorite treat is carrots. We decided to see if she would eat Kale also. Here is a cute video of her trying it...

Halloween Costumes from Etsy

If you are anything like me, you go to someones blog and you click on a link, then you click on another link, and another..... 10 minutes later you don't even remember where you started! LOL I was browsing on Pink Wonderland the other day and saw this cute Panda Dress she was wearing in an outfit post! The dress was sold at the Etsy shop I'm Your Present owned by Kelly. Her stuff is adorable! I fell in love instantly! I wanted to share some of her handmade Halloween jewelry and costumes with you....



I had to share the above photo because it's so adorable and they went to a lot of effort to setup it up! Are you dressing up for Halloween? I used to every year when I lived in Ohio. Now a days we don't really do anything and the costumes are so expensive! I am really in love with these pumpkin outfits though!! FREAKING ADORABLE....


I do love Halloween but dressing up seems pointless right now. It would be fun to maybe try to make something myself from an orange dress or something. We'll see! I really wanted to share this stuff with you guys because it's so lovely and cute!

Alpacas in Ohio

Back in April when I visited Ohio, these Alpacas I am about to share with you were not there yet. The people that live across the street from my parents decided to start raising them. I couldn't wait to see them in person and take some pictures.


As soon as you go up to the fence they start to walk over to you!
My mom has taught them this. They expect carrots!!

This girl was too hot to walk up to the fence.
She just stood in her water instead.

The Alpacas seem to not like my parents dog Gretta.
Gretta will run up and down the fence line barking at them.
The Alpacas will actually chase her while she is doing it! Pretty funny and cute.
I love being this close to animals.
This was my first Alpaca encounter. :)

Cute Elephant from AdaLou

Look what was waiting for me in the mail when I got home from our trip....

Sandi from AdaLou had a giveaway a few weeks back on her blog to win a cute little elephant stuffed animal!
She makes them herself! I never win anything so I was super excited.
Sandi was so sweet and emailed me lots of fabric choices to pick from.

Baby Bunny

We have a new resident at our house. Well, more like outside our house and I am obsessed with him. He is this cute little baby bunny. I tried giving him a carrot, but he was not interested. I don't know much about bunnies, but he seems a bit young to away from his mother. Hopefully I am worried for nothing. He was really confused on why I taking his picture...
He makes me smile. I love that we have wild bunnies around our house.

Chloe Loves Sunshine

The sun was out on Sunday afternoon and Chloe decided to sun herself in the living room. It was a great time to snap some cute pictures..."Oh, the sun feels so good!"What a cutie! Can't wait till spring so we can get the dogs out to some parks!

Flat Stanley visits us in Wyoming

Have you heard of Flat Stanley? He is a little boy who becomes flatten when a bulletin board falls on top of him. Now he travels the world by mail! A family friend asked me if I would let Stanley visit with us in Wyoming for her daughters school project. She just finished reading Flat Stanley in her 3rd grade class, so now Stanley is here with us visiting. Here are some of Stanley's photos that he will be taking back with him to Ohio...

This was fun to do. I know it will be exciting for the third grade class to get the Flat Stanley back and see the pictures. I wrote a cute little letter talking about our jobs and life in Wyoming.

Cutie Patootie - Penguin Planter

Okay, I don't know where I am going to put this little guy. I just had to have him! I found him at an antique shop for $1.25! How could I leave him? In all the years I have worked and shopped in antique malls, I have never seen a Penguin Planter. There isn't one chip on him! He makes me smile.

Cute Doggie Xmas Ornaments

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked out some new ornaments for our Christmas tree. They had cute dog ornaments that I couldn't pass up! They had an ornament that looked like Muffins...
...and a very cute little Chihuahua ornament that looked like Chloe! Hobby Lobby did have a few other breeds if you would like one of these ornaments for your tree.
