Here is what my street looks like even now...
Being from Ohio makes me used to driving in this type of weather.
However if this was Ohio that got this snow storm the roads would be closed!
Also they plow the roads in Ohio, in Wyoming they do nothing.
After our trip to Home Depot I now know that we can afford new windows for our kitchen. They were way less then I expected! YAY! They have a faucet that Cody and I both agree on also. Score! We also know that we can not afford wood counter tops from Home Depot. ($98 a sq ft!!!) We will have to go to IKEA for our counters. I picked out about 20 different gray paint swatches. We also started tearing some wallpaper down already. I can't wait to have a kitchen that looks like MINE. :)
Oh how I do not miss snow. I love flowers! There are some great mom and pop nurseries around here, that are just gorgeous, that we love to support. I found one that has a huge selection of organic veggies, which was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. ;) I need to make sure I shop at the smaller stores when I get flowers this year. Whenever the weather decides to cooperate!
DeleteYep, us too! :( Although we didn't get dumped on nearly as bad as you guys did. It's been windy and freezing though. Not fun. I want Spring!
ReplyDelete:( I figured you guys go it also!! It's horrible. Next week we are supposed to get more! Hopefully that changes. I just got my new bike,...I want to ride!!!
DeleteVery pretty snow pictures! I hope snow dosn't come back this way, i'm ready for summer now
ReplyDeleteGosh me too! I'm so over being cold and all bundled up!! It's time for sunshine and flowers again! :)

I wish it was 80! I can't wait for warm weather and sunshine! :)
DeleteHey now, at least there is spring at Home Depot. Hell, there is always a spring-time there. LOVE Home Depot! But I can't complain about the snow because I absolutely.love.the.cold.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the kitchen improvements. You make me excited for our smaller home to deck it up!
I'm glad you like the snow. :) I actually don't mind it in the winter, but in April! I'm over it by now. hahaha You will have fun with your new place!
DeleteAre you kidding me? This looks amazing. I've never even seen snow. Everything looks so magical. I hope to have a white Christmas in my life time.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful. We actually got snow again last night and we are supposed get like 10 inches. I guess since I've had snow my entire life it's not a big deal to me. More of an annoyance. hahaha When I first moved to Cheyenne I was fascinated with the mountains! (Still am) I had never seen them before. I hope you get a white Christmas some day. You may have to fly here to the states for that. ;)
