Some weeks I have tons of posts lined up. I can't wait to blog! This week, not so much. My mind and life are consumed with other things. I have decided to quit my job. I have 3 days left. I am sad to leave, but also feeling very excited. I look forward to looking for a new higher paying job with benefits. First though I will be heading to Ohio for 2 - 3 weeks to visit. I was going to fly, but plan to drive. I am taking my SUV so that I can buy whatever the heck I want!!! How crappy would it be if I finally found a buffet for my dining room, but I had driven my Mustang. I think I would be crushed!!!! I have been doing some spring cleaning this week. Yorkie Drawing I used to love to draw. My senior year of high school I took 3 hours of art classes everyday. I want to get back into it, but feel so rusty. I feel like I don't remember how to draw or where to even start...

Today the weather is beautiful here in Wyoming. I still rather be somewhere near an ocean listening to the waves. I dream of having a home on a hillside with an ocean view. This house I found today would be perfect....

Travel // Driving Through Dallas

This week I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures I took of Dallas, Texas. I really thought the city was pretty. Unfortunately I didn't get to see much of it. We were craving Chick-fil-a for lunch that day and there happened to be one in downtown Dallas.

I had never even heard of an HOV Lane. I am from Cincinnati, they don't have HOV Lanes!

I love the way the highway looks in Dallas.






Overall I thought Dallas was a pretty city. I think I could have stayed there all day. Kinda a shame that we were just passing through. While we were eating our Chick-fil-a, I got a few compliments on my platinum blond hair. People were nice in Dallas. :)

Whale Tattoo

I have debated for years whether or not I want to get a tattoo. I know some people love them and others HATE them. They aren't for everybody that's for sure! I have always loved them on other people. Cody has one on his chest that he got when we started dating almost 9 years ago. I have my nose pierced. That's all I have been able to go through with. Tattoos are just a form of art to me. I never knew what I would want. Maybe a hello kitty? I want to be safe. Feel like I am getting something that I will always love. Even though when I turn 50 I may think to myself, "What was I thinking?"
I have fallen in love with this beautiful whale tattoo....

It's way bigger then I would probably want to go for a first tattoo. I love it though. I keep looking at it and looking at it. If I got it I would get it on my arm. I would probably make it look a bit more girly adding more pink to it. Change the hot air balloon to regular balloons and add some hearts somewhere. I am so in love with this image. I had considered some Alice in Wonderland tattoos, but I lean more towards a whale. I feel so passionate about saving whales, that I think it would be something special to me and close to my heart. Which is what tattoos are supposed to be. Here are a few more tattoos I like...

I am still undecided. I really want to take some time to think about it. At least I finally feel like I know what I want. Baby Steps! It is forever and it's gonna hurt!
