Thrifty Finds: Harajuku "Mini" Bag

You are about to see what a dork I really am. Over a year ago I was so excited to get my first Harajuku Lover's purse. That was over a year ago and all this time I had not found another one I loved enough to purchase. Last time I went to Goodwill I found this cute Harajuku Mini bag.
It's pretty much like a child's school bag, I think?
The "mini" Harajuku stuff is sold at Target in the little girls department.
I always stop and look at it and wish I had a cute little girl to dress up in the clothing.
I got the bag for $5.00! There was no way I could pass it up.
It's great for traveling. There are so many pockets. I love being organized, especially on a road trip.

The inside liner is covered in cute little burgers.
The back is striped, which I love! It also has another pocket. Great place for me to store road maps.

The bag really makes me smile. I can't wait to use it!

Fashion Friday: Casual Gwen Stefani

A while back I posted some fashion boards featuring Marilyn Monroe.  This week I chose Gwen Stefani.  Every once in awhile I post about her.  I am not obsessed with any famous person.  I am the kind of person that if I was walking down the street and saw Gwen Stefani I would probably just smile at her and go on with my day.  When you think of Gwen you think of crazy fashion and that signature blond hair and red lipstick.

She has always stayed true to herself and kept to her own style.  We all can't look like a glamed up star every day, like Gwen.  The great thing about her is she also dresses it down a lot and you catch her in many casual outfits.  That is where I got my inspiration this week....

Harajuka Lovers {My First Purse}

I bought my first Harajuka Lovers purse this week. I say "first" because I love it and already want more. I have always loved Gwen Stefani and her style. Of course she can pull off wearing anything and it will look great on her no matter how crazy it is!


I love all the colors and patterns of the purses. The shoes are so adorable! I love the green and yellow pair above!


Most of the purses are bright colored. I almost put my purse back because it wasn't colorful. Once I got it home though I really feel in love with it. I tend to wear a lot of black anyways so it works well with my clothes. I paid $12.99 for my purse! The suggested retail price is $58.00! I purchased my purse from ROSS.

I love Gwen Stefani and her style. I love how she has kept her BLONDE hair all these years and not really changed who she is. She has stayed true to herself and is beautiful. She also is an inspiration to me because she has 2 kids and still has kept her tiny figure!!
