Kings Island
While we were in Ohio, Cody and I went to Kings Island Amusement Park with two of our close friends. We really had a lot of fun!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures...

Delirium is my favorite ride. Cody gets sick on rides that go backwards, so he just took pictures of us while we rode it.

CODY IS HOME
What the heck have I been doing? Sorry for the lack of posts. I have a crappy internet connection and it takes like 2 hours just to do a simple post with pictures. Every moment of everyday is "Go Go Go!!!" Especially now that Cody is in Ohio. I picked Cody up last week on Wednesday August 3rd.
Before I headed to my hotel in Dayton Ohio, I drove up to Columbus to purchase some Vinylmations. (Yes, I am a bit crazy.) The Disney store was still offering Buy One Get One Free! It was so worth the drive!!! Sadly their inventory was low, but they did hold a full box of Urban 5 for me. (Which was the whole reason I went there!) I ended up buying 10 of the Nightmare Before Christmas...

We already have Jack! There is only one more Vinylmation I need to complete the Nightmare Before Christmas series. I think I am going to keep these guys in their boxes! I had to buy a total of 24 full priced Vinylmations to get 24 Vinylmations for FREE! I purchased 8 Vinylmations from the Muppets Series 2...
I bought 6 Vinylmations from the Cutesters Series 2...
I only ended up with 2 dulipcates! Then I was able to get my Urban 5 box! A whole box has a full series and chaser. Then another set without the chaser. I know it probably sounds confusing unless you collect them. It means I have some to sell on ebay or a lot of dupilcates to trade when we go to Disney World again. :)
So now that best part, the price! I have a Disney rewards Visa credit card. I hadn't used it yet and they give you a $50 credit for Disney merchandise on your first purchase. Plus, I get 10% discount on my purchase. The grand total for all 50 Vinylmations without the Buy One Get One Free was $600!!! I got out the door for under $200 with sales tax! I was very happy!! I got the Vinylmations I wanted and then I got to head back to Dayton to wait to pick up My Cody.
Cody's flight wasn't due to land till Midnight!!! Then it got delayed by Thunderstorms in Denver. He didn't land till 2:30a.m.! What a long day it was! We ended up getting 4 hours of sleep that night/morning!
We have been visiting with Family & Friends the last few days. Cody got to be reunited with Chloe! She hadn't seen him since he left for basic training!

Sorry for the lack of posts! I don't even get on my computer everyday! We are leaving Ohio August 20th to head to Wyoming! We are so excited and can't wait to start our new life together! FINALLY!

A DAY IN INDIANAPOLIS
Yesterday my friend Dan and I went on a short road trip in Indianapolis. One of my favorite antique shops is located there, Midland Antique Mall. Midland is located in a huge warehouse. It always has unique fines and lots of Mid Century Modern furniture. It's a hip place that plays techno type music while you shop. I like it because its different.
I loved this Indianapolis graphic poster

Midland has 2 floors of booths. There are showcases with expensive things on the main floor. Sadly they have no air condition in the warehouse, so we looked as quickly as we could. They have a decent selection of vintage clothes at Midland.
I loved this gold colored vintage sofa. It was only $80 and very comfy! If we would of had a truck, it would of been mine. I loved this display!
Dan and I went to the Castleton Square Mall to have lunch. Well, they had a Disney store which meant they had Vinylmations. They had a sale going on where if you bought one Vinylmation you got another for free.
I was super excited about being able to purchase some Vinylmations in person instead of online. Dan and I had a lot of fun! We also visited the Exit 76 Antique Mall. It is very large and has something there for everyone! I highly recommend it.

BACK IN OHIO
Well I made it to Ohio! I took two days to drive here. I couldn't drive 1,200 miles by myself in one day! I drove from Wyoming to Iowa, then Iowa to Ohio.
I made this fun map of all the states I have driven through this year. All the pink states are this year, the turquoise states are places I have been in the past.

I am very proud of myself. If you would of asked me just a year ago if I ever thought I would drive across the country, I probably would of laughed. It amazes me how life always is full of surprises and how one decision leads to so many events happening. I am glad that I took Muffins with me. She does so well in the car and loves being with me. I took this cute picture of her being lazy in our hotel room bed...
So, of course since I am back in Ohio that means I did find a place for us to live in Wyoming. I ended up just renting a typical apartment in a complex. Not what I wanted, but everything else fell through. The apartment is large enough for all my stuff though. Now that I am in Ohio I have a lot of people to see and things to do! Today I visited with a close friend and ate at one of my favorite places to eat, Chickfila!
I will try to keep posting on my blog with my morning coffee!

Christmas Tradition - Metamora
Yesterday Cody & I went to Metamora Indiana with my parents. We go every December as a Christmas tradition. Metamora is a very small town that is full of stores that sell crafts, antiques and new items. There is something there for everyone! I took a million pictures, here are a few of my favorites.....

Every year I usually get a Christmas figurine of some sort. This year there was a new store that had Hello Kitty stuff. Needless to say I bought two cute Hello Kitty stuffed animals instead. lol My dad bought me the vintage pink owl in the photo above from my favorite antique shop at Metamora. I figured he would fit somewhere in my decor at the apartment.
This will probably be the last time that we will go to Metamora with my parents, at least for awhile. Hopefully we will be able to come home next year for Christmas. I am not sure how that will all work out with Codys leave time from the Military. He will only be at his job for a few months so it may be to soon to come back to OHIO.

Fishing with My Dad - August 2010
My dad and I went fishing yesterday. He took me to a lake that even if you can't fish you WILL catch something. It was fun. I had never held a fish before and I didn't like it. lol We did not keep the fish, we just fish for fun. It is relaxing and peaceful on the water...

My dad caught the biggest. Which I was glad. I think that fish would have pulled me into the lake.
