BLACK FRIDAY FOR ME

I did not dare step foot in a store the day after Thanksgiving. I did shop online though. I found everything I wanted from OLD NAVY was the same price online as it was in the store. Except no crowds. I win. I also purchased a few sweaters from Jcpenney's website.

Pink Tree at Apartment 103

Yesterday I put up my small pink tree in the apartment. Cody just took pictures. He really doesn't enjoy putting up the tree. Especially when it is pink. hehehe




The past few years my tree has been red, green and silver. I decided to add hot pink ornaments this year. It goes well with all the pink in the apartment! Here is a photo of Cody & me before we went to Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandmas house. We are counting the days till he leaves for basic training. We are going to try to make the best of our last month together! I sure am going to miss him...

Happy Turkey Day

Hello Everyone! I hope that you all have a great day with family & friends! This year will probably be Cody & I's last Thanksgiving in OHIO. We will be starting our new traditions next year. Not sure what we will do. I guess it'll just be the 2 of us.

I am thankful for my future. I look forward to a new beginning and I am full of hope. I always tell myself things can be worse. I am thankful for the simple things in life Have a great day everybody!

4 Movies

1. TIMER - A movie about getting a timer implanted in your arm. The timer goes off when you meet your soul mate. It was cute and funny. 3.5 stars

2. The Princess and the Frog - I hated this movie. I never hate Disney movies. It did not like that it had black magic in it and I would not let my children watch this movie. It just wasn't good. 1 star

3. Halloween {by Rob Zombie} - I thought this movie was going to be really good since Rob Zombie did it. It shows Michael Meyers growing up so you learn why he is the way he is. It had a lot of boring parts and it was really long. 2.5 stars

4. JUNO - I do not like that this movie was about teen pregnancy, but I did like the basic story line and the ending. It was a funny movie. 3.5 stars

I found her blog through Whatever Dee-Dee Wants. Sarah is an adorable girl with great style. I am drawn to her posts about her outfits mostly found at second hand shops. Victoria Secret Bedroom

My Living Room Wall

Every day that I sit and watch TV on my couch I stare at the blank wall above the television. It drives me crazy. I love LACK shelves from IKEA. I am not sure if I want to hang one or two on the wall. I also considered just hanging a few picture ledges.



Here is some of the things I have already to display and some things I would like to get...





I think the UNG DRILL picture frame would add a great POP of color when painted a shade of hot pink! I may just buy 1 LACK shelf and see how that looks in the apartment before planning the rest. Here is some inspiration photos...

FLASHBACK to 1996 - Photo Collage Bedroom

I was cleaning out my closet today and found tons of magazine clippings from when I did my entry way collage wall. I love doing collage walls from photos and magazine pages. I love doing it because it is like putting together a puzzle. Below is where the hobby started for me...







Green Day was my world! lol







I know not everyone could live in a room like this, but I was a teenager! lol I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. We ended up moving shortly after I finally got the room complete. I do still listen to Green Day, No Doubt, Garbage & Soundgarden. :)
